About Us

The Maroondah Interfaith Network was established in 2009 with the support of the Maroondah Council and with the assistance of a grant from the Victorian Multicultural Commission.

In seeking to create understanding, awareness and respect for the values and practices of all the local faith communities, MIN has held,

• an interfaith café
• interfaith concerts
• presentations on interfaith matters.

MIN has arranged speakers from different faith communities to speak in schools in the Maroondah area.

It has also been involved in events arranged by other Interfaith Networks throughout Melbourne and by the umbrella group, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria.
